I was lucky enough, again this year, to photograph the Des Moines Dance Classic put on by Cannon Studios out of Cedar Rapids. I ballroom danced in college so it’s great to be around this sport again! Combining the art of photography and ballroom dance is awesome! I love following dancers with my lens and just waiting for the perfect move or pose to capture – not just shooting in the dark but really understanding the dance and capturing it at its best!
