Jackson and Jessica – Married

Where do I begin? First off, these two are perfect together. They compliment one another in every way. Photographing their wedding was amazing. It was the perfect day – full of happy tears, laughter, and gorgeous photogenic details.

Jackson and Jessica were married at the Methodist Church in Panora and had the reception at the Lake Panorama National Golf Course. We shot the wedding party photos in the Guthrie County Historical Village in Panora. It was a beautiful and unique setting for photography – having the old-time buildings and textures as a backdrop. During the ceremony there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was so personalized, touching, and really gave the wedding guests a clear glimpse into the connection that Jackson and Jessica share – from their first meeting at Iowa State to the outdoor hobbies they enjoy together today. And the first kiss was hilarious – the pastor didn’t actually say “you may kiss the bride” but Jackson went for it, because that is what was going to come next. But, realizing the words hadn’t been spoken yet he pulled back – with Jessica lunging forward trying to get that kiss. They had a laugh and tried it again – and nailed it the second time around. The limo ride was a blast and I have to give due credit to my co-photographers (the wedding party shooting selfies of themselves…). Thousands of dollars of professional camera floating around an Escalade limo turned out to be a great idea – got some good blackmail photos for Jessica to use on her wedding party in the future (the best of the photos aren’t in this post).

Sunset photos were perfection and the reception toasts were touching. Dancing ensued and the celebration got underway!

Jackson and Jessica – I felt like a friend at your wedding that just happened to be capturing the whole thing with gorgeous images you’ll cherish forever. Thank you for letting me be a part of the day! I wish you two the very best forever and ever!

Oh, and if you haven’t seen them, check out their engagement photos we shot in the Spring of 2014!
