The most photogenic thing a wedding photographer could ever wish for is emotion. Good ‘ol fashioned wedding day emption is artistic gold. This day was that and more. From emotional father and groom first looks with the bride, to personally written and read vows, to a touching traditional Irish hand binding ceremony (the origin of the saying “tying the knot”), to toasts complete with lots of laughter and happy tears – Ben and Kelsey are surrounded with so much wonderful love.

Ben and Kelsey were married at the Barnes’ Place in Adel, Iowa (one of my favorite venues to shoot at!). A gorgeous outdoor ceremony overlooking the pond and a gorgeously adorned reception in the barn – aesthetic beauty was not in short supply.

And I must flash back to Ben and Kelsey’s insane engagement shoot in Downtown Chicago. These two are wonderful! I wish them none less than all the happiness in the world!
