Just so happened during the first snow of the year, in Iowa, I was in Arizona with these two love birds shooting their engagement photos! Win!

Traveling and photography combined make me a happy guy. I had an amazing time meandering around Phoenix and day tripping up to Sedona with Cassie and Sam. We climbed Cathedral Rock and shot with gorgeous panoramic views of Sedona’s famous red rocks, caught the Sedona sunset, stumbled upon the opening night of an amazing garden-wide art exhibit, Sonoran Light, at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, and explored downtown Phoenix and shot with some awesome murals in the Arts District.

Shout out to Cassie and Sam – wonderful hosts, dream wedding clients, and awesome friends. I am a blessed photographer to be flown out to beautiful (warm) parts of the world to make art. Their genuine connection was a breeze to photograph and their laid back go-with-the-flow personalities was a pleasure to be around. Their wedding day on campus at Iowa State University is going to be amazing!!!
