Alec and Holly’s wedding was straight from a storybook. Beautiful beyond gorgeous bride, dashingly handsome groom, and a perfect spring day. Their ceremony was at Ankeny First United Methodist Church (which happens to be my home church as well as Holly’s) and the reception was at the Des Moines Golf and Country Club. There wasn’t a dry eye in the sanctuary when Holly surprised Alec by singing to him during the ceremony, harmonized by her little sister. It was so personal and a wonderful way for Holly to communicate her wedding day emotion with her beautiful voice.
