So much love in this wedding day! Every second was happy, exciting, and just perfect. Chris and Jessica were married at my childhood church, Ankeny First United Methodist Church, and held their reception at the Marriott in Downtown Des Moines. The downtown setting provided some great backdrops for some night bridal photography you’ll see at the end of the post.

The seating chart had me sitting at “Table 1” with some of the top VIPs  of the wedding day – the Bride’s parents and grandparents. We all got chatting about love and marriage. It was precious to go around the table and hear how her grandparents met, courted, and married. Got me thinking that love is such a learned quality – you love by the example of those around you. It was clear to me that Chris and Jessica have wonderful examples of that for sure.
